CCU provides its students with placements focusing on supervised training in facilities for students from a variety of academic majors. Primary work is done at Christian Counseling sites, churches, and non-profit institutions. Students are assigned clients for both individual and group treatment, attend weekly group supervision, participate in regular client evaluations and are responsible for all professional record-keeping required as Christian counselors.

Chaplains of Florida is a not-for- profit corporation and division within Central Christian University. Its purpose is to form certified Chaplains to go into the Chaplain Ministry bringing the gospel to all people in every walk of life, ministering to the lost and hurting in hospitals, prisons, military barracks, corporations, and even at places such as bike rallies, rodeos, racetracks and disaster sites. When they are ministering in such places, the hood or the table in a break room suddenly becomes a pulpit or a place to serve communion. Sometimes ministering the Gospel takes place on a Harley or on an airplane.

For chaplains, ministry opportunities change almost every day. Students within the faculty of religious studies and education are urged to take advantage of Chaplains of Florida for their internship requirements.
